Octogam
Therapies & Conditions: Octagam 10% is an immune globulin intravenous (human) liquid preparation indicated for the treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) in adults
Administration: Typically administered at a total dose of 2 g/kg, divided into two doses of 1 g/kg (10mL/kg) given on two consecutive days.
Method: Intravenous use only. Do Not administer orally.
Side Effects: The most common adverse reactions reported in greater than 5% of subjects during a clinical trial were headache, fever and increased heart rate.
